Lil’ Update :)

Hey everyone! 🙂 Hope you are all getting as much sunshine as we are here in Winnipeg! We’ve been having absolutely gorgeous weather all weekend, and it’s supposed to last right through til Friday! I wish I could just spend the whole week soakin’ up some rays, but I’ve got wayyy too much to do! 😉 But it’s all good, I’ve still been managing to get at least an hour of “Fun in the Sun” every day so far, so that’s not too shabby at all! 8)

I’ll be spending most of this week putting some finishing touches on the design for AndiLand, and hopefully I can get all of my photo & video editing finished, too! That way there won’t be any last-minute panic before I can FINALLY launch my new site!!! I’m so excited!! 😀

Anyway, I’ll be spending most of today running errands that I’ve been putting off… like doing my taxes! (I know, I’m late :P) I’m actually looking forward to being out & about for a change, I’ve been glued to my computer for days now! Lol. So I’ve got my iPod freshly updated and I’m ready to strut around town jammin’ to my favorite songs while I get everything done. 8)

Time for me to jump in the shower and head out!

XoXo Andi

PS – Mozart says “Hello!” 😛

Sounds like it is getting close to launch time, very good. Looking forward to seeing all of the hard work you have done to make this a success.

On another note, did you do any dancing and singing down the street as you strutted around town. Almost sounds like your own version of Saturday Night Fever, Lol

…say hello to Mozart and give him a nice treat.

    Andi replied:

haha, I did a little bit of dancing, but nothing crazy. 😛

And if you get a moment sometime soon, take a peek in your e-mail for a hot video suggestion.

P.S. “Hello” to you, Mozart! I know you’re looking at Andi’s shirt and licking your chops—dont even think about it!~ 😛

    hi, andi
first of all let me tell you the wheateher here is not bad at all though my winter-time gets closer and closer (I live to the south of the planet), secondly I’ve been extremately too busy too, see I planed to download one record and I ended downloading ten (where’s my shotgun?)(ha!ha!), these last days I improved heavily my DVD collection too, but I didn’t download no movie, I bought all of them like a good boy is supposed to do.

awesome weather here in Northern Ontario as well…Weird that I’m going to the gym instead of out for a walk, but walking around town doesn’t have a cute blonde for me to look at 😀

P.S. Tell Mozart Pixie says Hi!!

    Andi replied:

haha, yeah I see your tweets about the blondes at the gym pretty frequently 😛 And I will give Mozart the message from Pixie! 😉

Aw.. Bad Andi for not doing your taxes til now 😛
Glad that you’re getting the sun there now. You should try to get some more fresh air and sunshine. Even if you’re sitting out on a chair reading a book while getting some sun. Watch out for tan lines though 😛 And hopefully this warm weather we’re getting decides to stay around north of the border for a change 😉

Hope the rest of the week goes well for you.

    Matt.

PS: Munroe and Charlie send a meow back to Mozart. 😛

Keep on keepin’ on! With your website on the horizon, these are exciting times. (BTW, when were your taxes due?) Oh . . . hi, Mozart!

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

April 30th, I believe.. but don’t quote me on that. Lol 😛

    [Reply]

  11. dickie says:

So when are taxes due in Canada, anyhow ❓

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

I think by the end of April, I usually get ’em done in March! There’s just been so much going on lately, I totally forgot! 😉

    [Reply]

  12. dickie says:

Here we go again… google is my friend:

    http://www.taxes.ca/info/dates-deadlines.php

April 30th looks like the day.

Well, I dunno if taxes work in Canada like they do in the U.S., but most people here in the U.S. have tax withholding taken directly from their paychecks throughout the year and sent to the government, and the total amount of that withholding is usually greater than actual taxes owed. So when tax forms are filed, people usually find their taxes have been paid already by this withholding and they get a refund of the excess withholding. If we file later than the deadline (April 15th), but the withholding covers all taxes and there is a refund due, I believe there is no harm, no foul, and no penalty. In such a case, we never even needed to file at all—the government would be happy to keep the excess withholding! 😛
If Canada’s taxes work in the same way, and if you had excess withholding, you should have nothing to worry about with filing late. 🙂

So that’s plenty about the exciting world of taxes.

On to another subject: television. 🙂 You often tweet or blog about shows you like—shows that run in the U.S. as well as in Canada. Question, just because I’m curious (and because I don’t recall based upon the stations I once saw out of Thunder Bay): Do they run in Canada the same TV networks as we get in the U.S.? That is… CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX? Or does Canada have its own TV networks, some of which run U.S. network shows like House, Celeb Apprentice, etc.?
Just wondering how the other half lives… 🙂

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

Yeah, withholding doesn’t really apply to me since my part-time, minimum wage job never really taxed me at all when I was working there.

And yes, we get all of those networks you mentioned :P, as well as some Canadian networks that run both US and Canadian shows. Best of both worlds! 8)

    [Reply]

  13. dickie says:

    Yep, it’s me again. 😛

So I looked @ the tax site linked above, and found that Canada appears to have a withholding and return system like we have here in the U.S.

On your Manitoba provincial return, don’t forget to take your Odour Control Tax Credit. lol Ok, maybe that one doesn’t apply to you, but I wonder if Manitoba Farms—the Winnipeg-based company that makes my favorite chocolate hemp milk—takes this credit? 😛

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

haha WTF…. yeah I don’t think that one applies to me! 😛

    Hi Andi!

Can’t wait for the website. Maybe you can get it up for my Birthday? June 5th! 😛 Anyway, have you decided on the monthly fee cost?

    -Aaron Hopkins

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

I’d love to, but to be completely realistic, I think it’ll be closer to mid-June… sorry! The cost will be around $30 or so… between $25-$35 for sure 8)

  16. Justin says:

andi.. thats bad. you might have to pay a fine now. I go to HnR block. they are fast and I always get money back. cant wait for the site. hope your like some of the girls here in wpg and wear them tight white shirts and a white skirt.. always a fav. 😛

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

Yeah, I heard H&R was good from a few people. I called to make an appointment with them last year and they directed me to one of their offices… but they failed to tell me that the office had been relocated to another part of town and wasn’t even at the address they specified! So, it was not only annoying, but it made a bad impression on me as well… someone working there is obviously incompetent, so do I really want them doing my taxes? 😛 I go to Liberty Tax now.

    [Reply]

  17. dickie says:

So in Canada do they have the person outside standing around in the statute of liberty suit? 😛

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

    No.. lol, smart ass! 😛

    [Reply]

    dickie replied:

hahaha You got that right! 😛 But the funny thing is, I haven’t even gotten to my smartass coment yet. 😛 I was only setting the stage with that question.

Here in the states, Liberty Tax service really does try to drum up business by paying a guy to wear a statue of liberty costume and stand outside the business on the side of the road and wave at passing traffic. lol I’m not shitting you:

    http://toledotalk.com/cgi-bin/tt.pl/article/51341/Liberty_Tax_costumed_Wonders

So the rumor is… when you go in there to get your taxes done, the goofball in the costume comes in and does them for you, right? 😛 😛 😛

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

Oh Good Lord… I was not aware of this… LOL

  18. Mon7que says:

Ha, you’re not the only one who hasn’t done their taxes this year… :p
Anyways, good luck at getting your site up and running. I thought I’d let you know that my finals are coming up soon (end of June) so I’m going to be busy for a while and may not be coming onto your blog as often. Continue to enjoy the sunshine each day…you deserve to reward yourself after a bunch of editing and such lol 😀

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

Thanks hun! I’ll miss your comments on my posts, but I totally understand. Study hard and I hope you do GREAT on your finals!! 😀 Let me know how it all goes! 😉

  19. Randy says:

You’ve started a busines with all the associated expenses and deductions, you need a CPA to complete you’re tax return. Your new business may be small now, but you need better representation that offered by H&R. In June when you begin a hugh cash flow, you don’t want any nasty surprises in April, 2011.

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

Yeah, that’s true.. but I didn’t technically “Start” anything until 2010, so it shouldn’t matter for my 2009 taxes.. but I understand what you mean. Next year will be a totally different story! 8) Thanks for the advice Randy 🙂

Hey Andi you are a Transformers fan,Megan Fox is out for part 3. We should start a campaign to get you an audition. You are soooooooooooooooo much hotter than her & im not just saying that!

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

haha, thanks, although I disagree.. she’s gorgeous! (But I personally liked her pre-plastic surgery, she was so naturally beautiful already!) Plus, I have no acting experience. I think I’ll stick to wearing my Transformers t-shirt and belt buckle and call it a day! 😛

    [Reply]

    themachojedi replied:

Don’t sell yourself short. You have the ability, you just have not opened that door yet & yes you are HOTTER than her. 9 guys out of 10 would take the girl next door over a plastic woman anyday. Stay possitive! You are the true “FOX” ok that was corney LOL! You know what I mean 🙂

    [Reply]

    dickie replied:

    ^^^ Agree.

    Andi > Megan Fox.

Not that Megan is chopped liver or anything, but GND appeal over fake is undeniable. It may be true that some guys prefer fake, plastic girls, but thats most often because they don’t actually care about the girls. Those guys would be happier fucking a realdoll, if realdolls weren’t so creepy, like fucking a dead chick.

Hi Andi, I like the change of name – it has a nice aura to it! Why the change though? By the way – do you have a facebook entry; I keep getting an Andi Pink popping up, but I never trust anything on facebook – it’s usually a scam. I liked reading about your campaigning for dogs on your last blog site. Is that ongoing? Anyway, good luck Andi Land for the great things still to come – movies I hope, mainstream movies best of all (though not too mainstream that would be boring, but enough to get you loads of starring roles in scary movies and cult films!!) You’d make a great scream queen:) Mark

    [Reply]

    Andi replied:

Thanks Mark! I changed my name because I am no longer affiliated in any way, shape or form with my old website (andipink), and have decided to go in my own direction. The name change is basically to separate my new work from my old stuff, and plus I think it sounds cuter 😉

And no, I am NOT on facebook! I do search on there from time to time though and there are a number of fake “Andi” profiles..

Great to see you posting on my new blog, don’t be a stranger! 😀
